SIMULATION: a Walk in the Shoes of a Dyslexic

October 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

FINAL Simulation flyer October 19

You will have the opportunity to experience activities which demonstrate to you some of the issues experienced by a person who struggles with reading and writing.  This is a hands-on experience that allows you to put yourself in the shoes of a person struggling.

Our goal is to provide you with experiences to increase your awareness of the difficulties and frustrations that individuals with dyslexia may encounter every day.  By increasing your consciousness of such occurrences, you will gain greater understanding and empathy and you will learn strategies that will help.

This presentation is to celebrate October as DYSLEXIA AWARENESS MONTH!

Admission is free but we would greatly appreciate a donation at the door.
