Our funding is derived from a portion of member’s dues, conferences, raffles, and donations. We thank our major contributors for this past year:

• The Jeannette C. McIntyre and Frederick (Lash) McIntyre Foundation for their continuing support of our literacy and public awareness programs.

IF you would like to donate, here are some ideas:

• Donation…$20 to $40
  To help with setup for a workshop on dyslexia
• Donation…$50
  Toward our scholarship fund to help folks attend our local conference
• Donation…$100
  To help folks attend the national IDA conference
• Donation…$35
  Toward our scholarship fund to help folks attend a workshop
• Donation…$40 to 100
  To help with set up for a conference on dyslexia
• Donation…$20 – Fund the telephone line for a month so community members can call 951-686-9837 when they need information about dyslexia and services for people with dyslexia
• Donation…$50 – Join and support our social media  outreach campaigns on Facebook
• Donation…$250 – Underwrote a conference presenter for our annual local dyslexia conference.
• Donation…whatever you want to help with our daily activities.  Any amount is welcome and useful.  Your support helps TCB assist and benefit people who teach, parents, and those who have dyslexia.

Be more than a patron: be a member!  You can join TCB and IDA (membership includes both).  Membership provides networking opportunities, members only access to research, employment opportunities, and more; as well as valuable discounts.

Contributions are always welcome. Local community support is vital to the IDA Southern California Tri-Counties Branch as it strives to address dyslexia and related literacy difficulties in our communities. We are truly grateful for the many individuals, businesses and foundations  who have so generously supported IDA Southern California Tri-Counties over the years. All donations remain in our Southern California communities to assist IDA Southern California Tri-Counties in increasing awareness of dyslexia in our communities, providing support for dyslexics, families and educators, promoting teacher training, and improving literacy for struggling readers.

You may designate your donation to the Dovid Richards Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for training and conferences for local teachers and active parents.

The International Dyslexia Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; donations are tax deductible, as is the IDA Southern California Tri-Counties Branch. With your generous support, IDA Southern California Tri-Counties can continue to improve the lives of individuals with dyslexia.
